The SPREE Presentation

So, I’m getting caught up on work after being out of town for a week. ;) But I don’t want to wait too long until reporting on what a great time we had at SPREE!

The Specialty Retail Report staff, who publish a magazine for specialty retailers, also put on the tradeshows twice a year. They are extremely organized, and friendly, and it was fantastic to meet all of them.

Here’s the powerpoint presentation we used: the-hundred-dollar-business-spree.ppt

(I wrote the powerpoint in Office 2007, so the format may be a little skewed since I uploaded it here in an earlier version).

So we used the powerpoint as a guide to keep our thoughts on track & provide the most relevant info. I must say, we ad-libbed a lot and told stories, because that’s what people are more interested in.

By the way, Rachelle Anderson, who was instrumental in the kiosk project (she’s in most of the pictures and the video), also attended SPREE. It was great to have her perspective on what it was like working at the kiosk during December!

Thank you for your tips & suggestions for the presentation! It really helped.

There may be a video coming out that we’ll post, if we can. Otherwise, check out the powerpoint and imagine that you were there, too! :)

  • Great finally meeting you in San Jose. I really enjoyed learning more about you and your business endeavors. Also, you did a fantastic job speaking. Many people came up to me later that day to tell me that they enjoyed your presentation. Thank you for coming to SPREE.

Also, noticed you’re working on a new project—love the premise! I look forward to reading it daily.

Hoping we get to see each other again at SPREE next year. Good luck with everything this year.

  • Patricia,

Thanks! It was great to be at SPREE. I would definitely love to come again. :)

I think the Human Census project is going to be a lot of fun. :) Thanks for checking it out.
