I Just Bought My Own Book… Should I Get My Own Autograph Too?
Just kidding. But, I did just buy my own book– and I think I’m the first customer.
The order went through on Yepic– they’ve ironed out that bug–so not only have I just made my first $4.78, which I’ll get all of back since I am the business as well (that sounds weird), but I’ll also now get a 40% commission on the article.
Sweet.
Four Extra Ways To Access The Story
If for some reason the affiliate link isn’t working (it’s a brand new feature for Yepic), you can also access The Entrepreneur Story directly:
1. From this link: http://www.yepic.com/index.php?module=readArticles&articleID=112
2. Searching for entrepreneurship
3. Searching for The Entrepreneur Story
4. Or by looking up this tag for hundreddollarbusiness
Notes On Yepic & Miscellaneous Info
The great thing about Yepic is that the article is updated real time to anyone who purchases it. So someone could purchase and view it as it is now, and then see the updates & progress as the book continues to be edited and shaped.
The article views best in Internet Explorer (sorry, geeks!) so if it’s cutting short after Entrepreneur #31, that’s the case.
Also, when the PDF is done, anyone who’s purchased the article on Yepic will be sent a file of the article as well, so you can have access to it through Yepic or on your own. It just depends on your preference, whether you’re a fan of the ebook or Yepic format.
By the way, I’m anticipating having the downloadable PDF on Lulu.com and through this blog site in about a week. (Fingers crossed!)
I’ll have more info available if anyone’s interested in being an affiliate, etc. If this is something you’d like to participate in, let me know.
Also, if you’re one of our authors, you do get a free PDF of the book, so there’s no need for you to purchase on Yepic, and if you want collaborator access to the article, just email me: hundreddollarbusiness@gmail.com.
I think that’s all– for now. Gotta get back to the autographing: just kidding!
Bonus: A Bemusing Story About Autographing
An author friend was doing a booksigning, and would use the standard “Best wishes” or “Nice to meet you” taglines. At the end of a long day, one perplexed booksignee walked away with a book proclaiming, “Best To Meet You,” and hopefully, just didn’t ask questions.

Carolynn,
Congrats on completing the book! I’m looking forward to seeing it in print. I’d like some info on the Affiliate Link. Can you send me info on this.

Darrin,
Thanks! And thanks again for the podcast interview on TycoonsRow.com.
We’ll be sending some info on the affiliate links in a few days– thank you for asking.
Btw, nice post on the new CEO of TechCrunch! I enjoyed that.
“CEO of a blog”… I wonder if I can add that to my curriculum vitae? (Can you be a CEO of a 1-person, not-quite-for-profit business?)
