Podcast Interview with Hundred Dollar Business on Tycoon’s Row.
Darrin Kuykendall, of Millionaire Faces and Tycoon’s Row, heard about our Entrepreneur Story project and approached me about doing a podcast interview.
So we set up a call yesterday, and it was great to chat with Darrin– he has a lot of energy & interest in gathering entrepreneurs together. In fact, in the next day or so, we’ll be announcing an exciting opportunity for all of our entrepreneurs on this project, in collaboration with Darrin– stay tuned!
Anyway, the podcast is located here. (Scroll down the page just after the question & answers section, there’s a “play” button which will pull up the audio of the podcast.) It’s about 30 minutes of Darrin asking questions such as:
- What is the Hundred Dollar Business?
- What has been the biggest trend you have found in profiling these entrepreneurs?
- What have you learned by working in a startup?
- What would you do differently in the first Hundred Dollar Business project, and what would you do the same?
- What is the next next Hundred Dollar Business project going to be?
He did a great job. The beginning is a little slow owing to my extremely poor Cingular phone (I rue the day my Treo was stolen), as well as my ever-present sleep deprivation, however, it picks up after a few minutes and has some valuable info.
Check it out, and if you like it, please Digg it!
Darrin also included a post called “How to Start A Business Every 30 Days?” which shows our Youtube video from the first project in December (thanks to CopperRain!) and compares me to Morgan Spurlock, of Supersize Me fame.
My favorite quote from the post: “This is instant immersion of an entrepreneurial education.” That’s exactly what we’re going for with The Hundred Dollar Business.
Also, Darrin coins a new nickname for me: “Thirty-Day Duncan.” I kinda like it!
