Collaboration Sessions Instructions & Schedule
Alright, you ready to dig in and get some collaboration happening on this content?
Everyone, please feel welcome to come to some, all, or none of these sessions. The more eyes we have reviewing the content, the better the final product will be
The sessions will work like this:
1. Sign up & log in as a user on both Yepic and Skype:
2. Join our group chat on Skype.
Two ways to do this:
A. Click the blue box on the right side of this site that says “The Entrepreneur Story, hosted by olynnduncan”.
B. Add me as a contact on Skype (my username is olynnduncan) and send me a message/chat that you want to join our collaboration chat.
3. Read over our daily session goals & questions
Before each session, I’ll post a list of review goals & questions on the blog, to guide our efforts.
If you have a chance to read through that information prior to the session, great. If not, come by anyway to share your thoughts on what we can do to shape & improve the book.
4. Come participate in our group chat as we edit the content real time.
As we dig in to review the content, we’ll appoint one “scribe” each session to implement the changes on a master version of the document.
5. Spread the word about the project & invite others to join the collaboration!
Skype group chats can support up to 100 users at a time– wouldn’t THAT be amazing? Feel free to let others know about what we’re doing, and if they’d like to join up, that’d be great!
Here’s the schedule of dates and times that we’ll be meeting up to collaborate.
Please note that the times are all in Mountain Standard Time (fortunately, we’ll be done before the time change happens!).
The first four sessions will be 1-hour each, and then they’ll increase after that as we get closer to our print deadine next Saturday! We’ll likely add another session the following Monday for our e-book version, so stay tuned.
Also, it’s not required to be available the whole time of the session– if you come by for a few minutes, read the chat and make a comment or two, or if you’re there the entire time– we’re happy with whatever participation works for you.
