Prep For Collaboration Sessions: Skype and Yepic Information
We’ll be starting a series of collaboration sessions March 3-9. If you’d like to be involved, this will be done via Skype chat and our Yepic collaboration platform.
Here’s some info on both programs– some of you may/probably know these things, but others don’t, so for clarity’s sake:
Skype
Skype is awesome. It’s a chat/VOIP system. We’ll be utilizing the group-chat feature to communicate during our collaboration sessions. The history of the chat will be saved so we can look through the info, it’s free, easy to download here, and no, I’m not a direct sales rep for the company.
My Skype name is olynnduncan. I’ll be creating a group chat called The Entrepreneur Story, so if you’ll sign up and add me as a contact, we can go from there.
Yepic
Yepic is also wonderful. It’s a Web 2.0 content-publishing platform that allows various authors to access the same document and make revisions, as well as include HTML, video, audio, etc. into a final e-doc that can be published and sold, also with a link to sell via eBay.
This is where we’ve been copying & pasting the stories– I’m a little behind, so if you don’t see your story yet, this is why. My author name is olynnduncan and the document is titled: The Entrepreneur Story: Collecting Stories.
How to Get Started on Yepic
1. Register as a user.

3. Find our article, called The Entrepreneur Story: Collecting Stories.
There are at least four options:
- Type “entrepreneurship” into the search box on Yepic.
- Type “olynnduncan” into the search box on Yepic.
- Use this URL to go to the article directly.
- E-mail me & let me know if you can’t find or access it, and I’ll get you hooked up.
4. Join our collaboration.
Send me an e-mail at hundreddollarbusiness@gmail.com saying you’d like to collaborate on the article, I’ll send you a collaboration invite, and then accept it (see step 5 for more details on this).
5. Access the article for our collaboration sessions.
From the main page, click on the “Write, publish, or sell my articles button” (near the bottom of the page under the “What Do You Want To Do” header).
Click on the yellow Collaboration On Other Articles Button, make sure you’ve accepted the invitation, and then the article should be accessible to you at that point.
The Sum-Up
More info forthcoming on the nitty-gritty of the features available with the collaboration.
We’ll start these regularly going Saturday, March 3 (skipping Sunday), and then Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Fri of next week, with more details on the times coming this afternoon. You can attend some, all, or none of these.
