Starting With Good Karma
So, last night, I announced the new project.
Within a few minutes, I got an e-mail from my friend Julie, with a couple of valuable links about writing:
http://peacecorpswriters.org/pages/depts/resources/resour_writers/100daysbook/bk100da.html
http://www.forwritersandreaders.com/write/encourage/
Two hours later, I got a very exciting e-mail from Yepic.com, an awesome local Web 2.0 content publishing platform, announcing that their private beta is finished and they have all kinds of upgraded features & functionality that can really be an asset to this project.
Less than an hour after that, my good friend Mel asked if she could be our first customer. I told her we could probably arrange that…
And, this morning, I got a call from one of Yepic’s founders with a lot of encouragement and enthusiasm about the project, which I really appreciate.
My friends, it doesn’t get better than that. I think there’s going to be some good things happening with The Entrepreneur Story. We haven’t even started yet, and we’ve got some good resources and our first customer.
1 down, 99 customers to go. I’m also looking for 100 entrepreneurs willing to share their story of how they got started. Specifically, for one from each of the 50 states, and then the assorted keywords I’ll post soon.
If you are an entrepreneur, and/or if you know an entrepreneur who would like to participate, please do let me know!
The project is still in the planning phase, but I’m anticipating by the end of this week or the start of next week, it’ll be up and running. Having good karma at the onset is really a good thing!

Carolynn,
I announced my desire (soon to be an insatiable need, if I don’t stop thinking about this great project) to be featured in your book.
But now I’m bummed because I realize that I forgot to tell you how much I’m looking forward to reading it. Darn.
Count me in as a customer as well. Where should I send my dollar?

Tim,
I’m glad you’ll also be a customer! You are Customer Number 5. (We should give out certificates with that, don’t you think?)
Thanks for joining the project! Will let you know more info soon.
