Entrepreneur Quizzes

I stumbled across some entrepreneur self-assessments today, and I think they’re interesting. What I think is more interesting is that an enthused entrepreneur is not going to be taking the time to do an assessment… although perhaps they should. ;)

Are you thinking about starting something? What results do you get on these?

Quiz 3

Out of these 25 questions, “all *should* easily be answered with a yes”. Mine are all “Yes” answers except:

20.Do you wake up early in the morning with a positive attitude?

No–I usually stay up & get up late, preferably. As for the daily starting attitude, this can really depend on the stress level of the day before, which is why working less/chilling more becomes so vital.

21. Is your financial situation stable?(You should have enough money to get by for at least one year before you venture out on your own.)

No– working for 4 startup companies in 18 months= a financial rollercoaster.

22. Have you done your homework, studied all materials that cover the business you are going to start?

No– cringe. And I can attest that If I’d done a few days more on the research side, I’d have avoided some big kiosk mishaps.

To be totally honest, there are also some “maybe” answers to:

3. Is it easy for you to stay organized?

My paperwork management techniques need serious help. But, other than that, I stay on track easily with organizing my schedule, following up, appointments, tasks, what has to be done, moving forward with goals, project management, etc. So, yes *except* paperwork.

11. Do you like people?

Of course, especially my blog readers. ;) That said, I learned from the kiosk experience that I value my free time away from crowds of people– I’m not best-suited to actually being in a mall surrounded by people for long hours at a time.

The Sum-Up

So, what does all this info mean? I’m not sure. Though, I think they provide a good starting-analysis for the weak/strong points of how my personality/characteristics/situation affect and are affected by my entrepreneurship projects.

Does that mean I should consider myself to be well adapted for entrepreneurship, or no? I guess this goes back to the “is an entrepreneur born or made” debate. Your thoughts?
